At the time of its appearance on store shelves, it was the most bought. It appeared in 1975, on December 31, the variety was registered in the State Register, becoming a kind of New Year's gift for all gardeners. The variety was created by the famous scientists-breeders A.N. Lukyanenko and S.F. Gavrish (line of the same name of the seed producer). General characteristics of the Rocket

The Raketa tomato is a stunted, determinate plant. The height of the bush is no more than 60 cm, the bush has little leafy, compact. The foliage is dark green, not large or bumpy. Inflorescences are simple, 3-6 flowers are formed.

Cultivation is carried out in seedlings, seeds should be planted for seedlings in early April, or at the end of the first April decade. Seedlings will appear in 7-10 days. This should be done in early May.

It is better to plant seedlings in rows, leaving 60 cm between them, and 30-40 between the bushes. To make watering more efficient, it is advisable to build low curbs.

Important! Watering after planting during flowering is necessary daily, but not very plentiful. Top dressing must be applied 2-3 times per season.
