Rose Grace (Amazing Grace) is an extraordinarily beautiful flower with a unique history. The name Grace rose from D. Austin, who wanted this flower to become his kind of visiting card. Indeed, the Amazing Grace rose has the best qualities in comparison with many other representatives of the same variety. It has a pleasant aroma and a unique peachy bud.

Description

General characteristics of Amazing Grace rose:

  • belongs to the group of English roses;
  • the bud is ovoid and dense in structure;
  • mainly grows in the form of a bush, which reaches a height of almost a meter, as well as in diameter;
  • sufficiently high frost resistance;
  • flowering multiple.

The description of the flower should begin with the appearance of the flower. Rose Amazing Grace resembles a dahlia. Only the petals are large enough, and the flowers reach seven centimeters in diameter. During the season, flowering can be repeated several times, on average two or three. Flowering usually begins in late spring and lasts until autumn frosts.

As already mentioned, the rose grows in the form of a bush, consisting of strong branches, on which there are almost no thorns, which distinguishes this species from other representatives of roses. This English variety has dense, rich green foliage that shimmers and shines in the sun.

Flower care

The following recommendations should be observed:

  • Austin roses should be planted in sunny places;
  • absolutely any soil is suitable for this variety, but at the same time it is necessary to ensure the removal of excess moisture, because this event will prevent the occurrence of diseases of the root system;
  • the plant requires regular watering, at least three times a week, and during hot summer days it should be done even more often;
  • the average optimal dose of moisture per bush plant is 15 liters, and the water must be defended in advance;
  • it is extremely important to fertilize and feed the plant. Fertilizer is necessary to prevent plant diseases and get rid of parasites. In turn, fertilizing, in particular mineral fertilizing, will enrich the plant with nutrients that will help during the period of growth and flowering;
  • you should regularly loosen the soil, as well as remove weeds nearby;
  • be sure to cover the plant for the winter and insulate it.

This plant is truly unique and has clear advantages over other varieties, namely:

  • lack of thorns;
  • a large number of flowers on the bushes, distinguished by an incredibly beautiful appearance;
  • frost resistance.

Note! There are almost no disadvantages of this variety. Some are not satisfied with the limited range of colors, only peach shades. In addition, the aroma of this flower, although pleasant, is not expressed strongly enough.
