Throwing out eggshells, not everyone knows how useful this fertilizer is for plants. But it all works, of course, provided it is properly collected and used.

Benefit

If you want, then in a couple of months you can collect up to two kilograms of eggshells, which will subsequently ennoble the soil well, making it even more fertile. The outlook after such fertilization is quite favorable: an increase in yield by at least one and a half, or even two times.

How to collect the shell correctly

There is no need to rush to throw away such a valuable product for the garden. It is better to define a special box for it, where it will be stored and dried. After cleaning the egg or breaking it, the shell must first be dried naturally on a paper napkin, so that even more useful elements will be preserved in it.
Then it can be broken and sent to a general container for storage.

Important! Do not store such fertilizer in plastic bags or similar packages. In this case, the risk of mold and rot is very high!

How to grind the shell

It is most convenient to do this not with every new egg, but to collect at least a small amount of them. Further, the dried shell must be placed, for example, on a dense fabric, closed with the second part and a good walk over it with a rolling pin.

Next, you can use a coffee grinder, which will grind the shell into powder. This is a valuable fertilizer.

Combined soil fertilization

To prepare an even more valuable fertilizer for improving soil quality, you can go ahead and bake the eggshells along with the wood ash. The result from it will be visible already in the current season.

Liquid fertilizers

Dry and grind the egg waste to a flour condition. Next, a concentrate dressing is prepared: the flour is poured with a small amount of water. All this is infused for about a week. Cloudy water and a very unpleasant odor will indicate the ripening of the fertilizer. Since this is a concentrate, it must be used in a ratio of 1 to 3. By watering plants with this composition, they will grow stronger literally before our eyes.
