- A similar insect trap can be made from a glass jar with a screw top. With this method, you need to cut a cross-shaped hole in the lid with a sharp knife, and bend the edges inward. A sweet bait should be placed on the bottom of the jar and the lid should be screwed on. Insects will be well caught for sweet syrup, fermented jam and fish.
How to catch hornets correctly
For greater efficiency, you need to make several traps and place them throughout the site, preferably away from the paths along which people walk. As the trapped insects accumulate, the devices are replaced with new structures. If you don't want to make other traps, you can empty these without neglecting security measures.
