This temperature regime transforms the steel into a state of hot plastic deformation, which makes it possible to form a web without damaging the material.
  3. Additional stiffening ribs are formed at the web closer to the handle, where the maximum load occurs during operation.
  4. The shaped edges of the tulle are again bent around, as a result of which the blade of the shovel is finally formed.
  5. The profile of the tulle is closed by stamping.
  6. The cutting edge is sharpened at an angle of 20 degrees. This achieves maximum cutting performance, wear resistance and high strength. During this step, it is important not to reduce the fineness of the material below 0.5 mm. otherwise the web will be very fragile.
  7. The workpiece is covered with an anti-corrosion layer that protects the canvas from rust and abrasion. Here they use a special paint or varnish, powdered polymer or galvanized. At this stage, a static electricity system is used, in which the polymer is attracted to the web. Then the web is subjected to high temperature processing.
  8. The blade is inserted into a hardwood stalk. It is sanded and covered with two layers of varnish. For greater strength at the junction, the handle is attached with three self-tapping screws.
