A rare gardener dislikes an early tomato variety. After all, this is an opportunity to quickly enjoy the pleasant taste, add a grown vegetable to a salad or other dish with your own hands. As you know, your own tomato is always tastier than the purchased one. Tomato Pink Miracle belongs to early ripening varieties, while its fruits ripen rather large, with a characteristic pink color. There is an opinion among gardeners that if the color of a tomato differs from the standard red, then it contains a greater amount of amino acids and useful trace elements. This is not always true, but the Pink Miracle variety is really rich in various substances that a person needs.

General information

The variety is hybrid, that is, it is derived from several other types of tomato, from which it took the most beneficial properties. The Pink Miracle tomato owes its appearance to breeders from Transnistria, and it was bred relatively recently - it has been in the State Register of Seeds for only 8 years (since 2010).

The tomato is quite sensitive to climatic conditions, therefore it is recommended to grow it outdoors only in the southern regions. In areas with more severe climates, it should be grown in greenhouses in order to get a guaranteed yield on schedule.

Additional Information. Scientists have established the fact that regular consumption of pink tomatoes in food helps prevent cardiovascular diseases and prevents the appearance of tumors, including malignant ones.

The main feature of the variety is its short ripening period. It is less than three months from the date of placing the seeds in the ground. The easiest way, of course, is to comply with such terms in the greenhouse. When growing tomatoes in the open field, the ambient temperature, illumination (number of sunny days) and a number of other climatic factors, which can slow down the ripening process, have a significant effect on the ripening time.

Plant characteristic

The general characteristics that experienced gardeners give to Pink Miracle tomatoes are as follows:

  • The time required for the formation and ripening of the fruit is 80 to 90 days. At the same time, it is necessary to provide the plant with proper care and adherence to all recommendations for growing;
  • The variety has a high yield, for which gardeners love it. With proper care and favorable climatic conditions, up to 19 kilograms of fruit can be harvested from 1 square meter;
  • An important property is the standard shape and size of the fruit. This allows them to be grown both for sale (especially since they can easily be transported), and used in the preparation of various salads or tomato juice. The number of non-standard fruits is less than 5% of the total harvest;
  • Fruits can be picked slightly unripe, they reach the desired state in room conditions, while the taste of such tomatoes does not differ from tomatoes ripened on a bush;
  • To obtain a good harvest, the bushes of the plant should be shaped.

Tomatoes of this variety are determinant, the height of the bush rarely exceeds 110 centimeters. The number of leaves on the stem is average. The gardener is only required to form two stems, there is no need to pinch or remove excess leaves, since the height of the plant is naturally limited, and the number of leaves does not interfere with the ripening of the fruit.

Tomato Pink Miracle

The color of the bush is very pleasant, light green, while the leaves on it are large enough, located rather compactly, which creates an attractive appearance. During the flowering period, inflorescences are formed not lower than the fifth or sixth leaf, one brush forms from four to seven ovaries, from which the fruits then ripen. The distance between the fruit branches is at least one or two leaves, which allows the tomatoes to ripen large enough and give a stable high yield. As they ripen, the fruits acquire the characteristic pinkish hue of ripe raspberries and begin to be visible from under the leaves. Outwardly, it looks like a pink waterfall flowing in the greenery of the bushes.

The fruits grow round, almost perfect in shape. The skin is smooth and even to the touch, very delicate, but at the same time strong enough not to be damaged during transportation, therefore this variety can often be found on the market. The pulp is characterized by medium density, its color is crimson. The average weight of one fruit is 100-110 grams, but subject to the rules of care and favorable conditions, some gardeners managed to grow fruits weighing up to 350 grams. It is quite simple to distinguish ripe from unripe tomatoes - unripe ones have a dark strip in the form of a halo around the stalk. Once the tomato is ripe, this halo will disappear.

Important! It will not be possible to prepare seeds of this variety on your own, since it is hybrid, which means that the properties of a tomato will not be repeated in fruits grown from seeds harvested independently. If you like the variety, you will have to buy planting material annually.

Tomato Rose Miracle has an excellent taste, which is confirmed not only by the opinion of gardeners, but also by professional tasters. Thanks to the work of breeders, it maintains a balance of sour and sweet tastes, contains the required amount of nutrients.

Growing technology

Like most other varieties of tomatoes, the Pink Miracle tomato should be planted in special containers in March-April in order to get seedlings, which are then planted in open ground or in a greenhouse.

Before planting seeds, containers and soil should be warmed up to ensure good germination. Seeds should be placed at a depth of 1-1.5 centimeters. Next, you need to follow certain recommendations so that the seedlings grow powerful enough and resistant to various diseases:

  • The comfortable temperature for the formation of shoots and their growth is 23-25 degrees Celsius. If it is not possible to provide it, heating devices should be installed next to the containers with seedlings;
  • It is also necessary to provide the sprouts with the required amount of sunlight. Only in this case will they grow strong enough;
  • Seedlings should be watered with moderate amount of water;
  • If there is insufficient development of the plant, it can be fed with sodium humate. The solution should be prepared in accordance with the instructions on the fertilizer package;
  • Diving shoots are performed after the appearance of a second leaf on them;

Note! 2 weeks after the dive, it is recommended to feed the plant with nitrogen fertilizer (usually nitrophoska or nitroammophoska is used). The recipe for the solution is very simple: for 10 liters of water, one tablespoon of fertilizer. For each stem, there should be 100 milliliters of solution.

  • Before planting seedlings in open ground, it is recommended to acclimatize them. To do this, containers with sprouts are exposed to the air in a lighted, but protected from drafts place.

When planting tomatoes in the soil in the garden, you must take into account their predecessors. A good harvest will be if you plant tomatoes in a place where carrots, parsley, plants of the Pumpkin family (zucchini or cucumbers) used to grow. This will prevent various diseases of tomatoes. When planting seedlings in the ground, it should be fed with potash fertilizers.

As the plant gains strength, a bush should be formed.One or two stems should be left. It is recommended to tie them up so that they do not break off under the weight of the fruits, or the fruits themselves do not end up on the ground. Watering is required moderately enough, the next day after watering, the holes or beds should be loosened to ensure constant air access to the root system.

Moderate watering

It is recommended to fertilize with organic fertilizers: chicken or cow dung. The first is diluted in water in a ratio of 1:15, and the second - 1:10. Watering with this solution should be twice during the ripening period. In the northern regions, the plant should be treated with protective agents. This must be done every 10 days to get the required harvest.

Advantages and disadvantages of the variety

The above characteristics and description of the Pink Miracle tomato variety allow us to highlight the following advantages:

  • Early ripening of fruits;
  • Excellent taste;
  • High productivity;
  • Attractive presentation and ability to withstand transportation over short distances;
  • Disease resistance.

As the main disadvantage, gardeners note the need for sufficiently careful care and feeding. Also, the fruits of this variety are not stored for a long time, so they should be eaten only fresh or as an additive to various preparations.

So, the popularity of the Pink Miracle tomato is due to its high yield, excellent taste characteristics and attractive appearance. In exchange, the plant requires certain care and compliance with the requirements of agricultural technology when growing. It should also be noted that it will not be possible to independently prepare seeds for planting the variety for the next year, since this is a hybrid.
