The disadvantages include:

  • tomatoes can only be used fresh. They are unsuitable for preservation due to the large size of the fruit; they are also not suitable for juicing, since they have little moisture;
  • special care is required (use of backwaters, regular watering).

The leaves of the Siberian tomato variety are of the usual shape, a bit like a potato leaf. There are few of them on the plant; they do not cover the fruits from sunlight.

Planting and leaving

You can plant them with seeds for seedlings from the first half of March, 60 days before planting in open ground. The earth should be at room temperature, treated with a light solution of potassium permanganate. Tomato seeds must be buried 1 cm in the ground. The container with seeds must be placed in a warm place, this will facilitate germination.

When the first 2 leaves appear, the "King of Siberia" tomato must be dived. And if there are 5-7 leaves, you can plant it in the ground, but before that, young shoots need to be hardened for 10 days.

Highly fertile soil is suitable for the royal tomato. Plants can be planted in the place where they used to grow:

  • cucumbers;
  • cabbage;
  • legumes;
  • bow;
  • carrot.

Seedlings of tomatoes

Tomato seedlings should be planted at a great distance from each other. For 1 sq. m should be no more than 4 plants. It is important to pinch it so that two stems remain, this will help the plant retain strength for fruiting.

Important: The height of the bush can reach 1.5 meters, so it must be tied up. Branches can break under the weight of the fruit, therefore it is important to put wooden supports.

Abundant flowering, flowers open almost simultaneously. It is enough to leave 5 flowers each, and remove the rest, this will increase the weight of the fruit. Throughout the season, you can feed the plant with mineral fertilizers 2-3 times. In the evening, it is necessary to water it with settled warm water, but it is important not to overdo it, since an excess of water leads to decay of the roots. The soil must be loosened regularly to provide air access.

Three months after planting seedlings in the ground, the tomato bears its first fruits.

It belongs to mid-season varieties, maturing is gradual. Tomatoes begin to ripen from the lower branches, end with the top. When the fruit is fully ripe, it takes on a bright orange color. The average weight of a tomato is about 400 gr.

The shape of the fruit is heart-shaped, the flesh is dense. The tomato skin is smooth, without ribbing and green spots near the tail. The fruits tolerate transportation well and are kept fresh for a long time. They are suitable for dietetic food, for making baby puree.

It should be noted that tomato is resistant to many diseases. There is no need to process it against Alternaria, Cladosporiosis, Tobacco Mosaic Virus, respectively, the fruits are considered environmentally friendly.
