- Preparatory work. Preparation measures should be carried out one season before the expected planting of Gigantella raspberries. To do this, on a prepared place where a raspberry tree is planned in the future, such iconic crops as, for example, alfalfa are planted, since it has a beneficial effect on the condition of the soil.
For high-quality soil moisture, it is recommended to choose a flat site for planting, although a slight slope is encouraged so that there is no stagnation of moisture near each individual tree.

Excessive stagnation of moisture is not welcome, as it slows down the development of the root system of the bush.
In summer, in the sun, water the raspberry tree only in the evening, in order to avoid overheating and sunburn of the plant.
Top dressing
Top dressing is an important step in caring for a shrub. Fertilizers must be added once a month. You can use both organic fertilizers and minerals, both dry and diluted with water.
Before adding groundbait, it is necessary to thoroughly weed the area around the bush and loosen the soil.
