In order to plant potatoes, you can buy them or start by selecting quality tubers. If they are sick or damaged, you should not expect a good harvest.

1. The process of preparing tubers should be started even during the previous harvest. You need to pay attention to those bushes where the foliage is thicker, and they themselves are larger;
2. Their bushes are removed, and varietal potatoes are left in the ground for a while so that they can dry out;
3. Now you need to select the tubers. They must not be moldy or damaged. The recommended size for seed potatoes is about a chicken egg;
4. The collected potatoes are harvested and placed in a dry, warm place. You cannot keep it under the influence of direct sunlight, otherwise it will lose its quality;
5. About 14 days before planting, seed potatoes are placed in a single layer in wooden crates and sprinkled tightly with shavings. Then watered so that the moisture does not dry out. It is desirable that the temperature during this period be 20 degrees;
6. It is necessary to carry out pre-treatment with the use of fungicides to prevent the occurrence of fungal diseases;
7. In addition, before planting, it is advisable to cover the potatoes with ash.

This variety is planted in early May. The plot should not be shaded. It is good if legumes, cabbage or carrots were planted here earlier.

It is planted in the beds. The distance between them is 55 cm, between the plants - 45 cm, and the depth of the hole for planting is 10 cm.

Before planting, they directly dig up the ground and apply fertilizers. It is recommended to pour the mixture into each hole:

1. 150 g of peat;
2. A tablespoon of ash;
3. A teaspoon of superphosphate (double dose is taken).

Throughout the entire ripening time, fertilizing is done three times:

1. Art. spoon of urea, 2 tbsp. spoons of a universal additive for 10 liters of water;
2. When tying buds, a mixture of ash and potassium phosphate is used;
3. During flowering, superphosphate and nitrophosphate are stirred in 10 liters of water. In this case, one liter of solution is used for each bush.

Zorachka potatoes have a number of important advantages:

3. The variety is completely undemanding to the soil and climate, so it is easier to care for it than many other varieties;

7. Potatoes are naturally highly resistant to some common diseases and insect pests.
