Finding a new potato variety in this official document gives the full right to multiply and sell planting material, as well as to import it into all regions of the country in compliance with quarantine. A certificate of conformity is allocated for a new type of potato, which describes in detail this varietal species and its main characteristics.

The potato variety Mondeo appeared relatively recently, successfully passed field research and in 2014 was included in the list of vegetable crops of the State Register. This variety is patented by the well-known company KWS POTATO B.V, engaged in the breeding and promotion of Dutch-German seed potatoes. According to registration in the State Register of Breeding Achievements, Mondeo potatoes are recommended for the regions of the North Caucasus, Rostov Region, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories.
