Toltrakoks: instructions for use for broiler chickens

To administer the drug orally with water, there are the following methods:

  • 1 ml of toltrakoks per 1 liter of water. You need to constantly water the bird for 2 days;
  • 3 ml of the drug in 1 liter of water. In this case, the bird needs to be fed 8 hours a day for 2 days.

This comes in a ratio of 7 mg of the active substances described above per 1 kg of chick weight.

In especially severe cases of the disease, after 5 days, you can undergo treatment again.

Important! The drug solution does not lose its medicinal properties within 2 days. If a precipitate forms, the mixture only needs to be stirred before use.

  • In case of an overdose of chickens, we use less water.

Recommendations and tips for use from experienced poultry farmers

  • Slaughter of poultry is possible only after 8 days. During this time, the drug is completely eliminated from the body. If slaughter is forced before the deadline, then the meat of this poultry can be given to feed for pets or disposed of.
  • During treatment, the bird must be given a mixture of water and medicine as the only source of drinking.
  • It is recommended to start treatment before the first clinical signs of the disease appear among the birds and to breed after the onset of the epidemic in chickens. This will maximize the effect of the drug.

The mortality rate of birds in severe cases of the disease reaches up to 70%, but timely therapy with toltracox will help reduce the likelihood of death in chickens and chickens.
