Variety history

An English garden is hard to imagine without shrub roses. Many breeders draw ideas for new varieties from British flower gardens.

D. Austin is a master of his craft. More than one variety of roses is named after him. These hybrids are distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, they are quite winter-hardy.

Rose Olivia Rose is a 2005 creation. It got its name in honor of D. Austin's eldest granddaughter. This variety is a cross between Gallic roses and modern floribundas.

Complex fertilizers are used for feeding, but not more often than once every 2 weeks. Organics are also suitable for these purposes.

An important point in crop care is pruning. It should be done in the fall, cutting 60% of the height.

Before wintering (before the onset of frost), the rose is spud and covered, leaving access to air. A little ventilation is needed so that the bush does not become infected with fungal diseases. The soil is treated with an antifungal agent before winter. Fallen leaves must be removed.

Important! Fallen leaves cannot be used for mulching, as they may contain fungal spores.

The plant propagates by seeds, cuttings and dividing the bush.
