Rose Darcy Bussell is one of the finest flowers in the David C.H. Austin rose garden. This shrub became famous and received its recognition only in 1983, although it was learned about its existence much earlier.

In 2013, in the USA, the flower was recognized as the best spray rose for the Chauncey Beadle version. The plant got its name in honor of Darcey Bussell - the prima of the Royal Ballet Covent Garden.

Description of the crimson queen

The flower belongs to the representatives of low-growing shrubs. Its height reaches 1 m, and its width barely reaches 80 cm.

The branches of the shrub are erect and end in lush flowers, which consist of 40-80 petals and have a diameter of 10 cm. The dark red color of the flower eventually acquires a lilac hue. When the bud is in full bloom, a yellow center is visible.
