What is the difference between wildflowers and garden flowers

Even if you really want to see wild crops in your garden, you should take into account that not all of them can be transplanted from their usual habitat. But on the territory of the country there are nurseries in which wild flowers are bred and specialize in the sale of seeds of these crops.

Field grasses are best planted in the soil in early spring or fall, when the plants are still in a state of winter sleep. You can collect seeds from them yourself, while you need to remember that you need to leave a small amount of seeds so that the plant population does not disappear in nature. It is still better to buy seed from nurseries.

Growing a plant from seed is more economical than replanting an adult plant. But the seed method has its drawbacks, since there are plants that do not germinate for a long time. In addition, a long time passes from germination to the first flowering, and the seedlings remain inconspicuous all this time. There are seeds that need additional preparation before sowing in the form of stratification, which is carried out for two months in a cold place.

If a person does not have the patience to grow flowers from seeds, then it is best to purchase ready-made seedlings. An exception may be that when growing a meadow of wildflowers, seeds must be sown directly on the soil surface in late autumn, in winter they will hatch under a snow cover and germinate by spring.

Best wildflowers

In the fields, meadows, floodplains of rivers, there is a large number of species of forbs with a wide range of colors. Among them you can find yellow, pink, blue, white and red flowers. Both annual and perennial plants are found here, which propagate by seed, horse method and pollination, their seeds are carried by birds.

Some herbs that have a tart aroma or a delicate scent bloom yellow. Among them, the most famous are the following.

Goose bow

It grows no more than fifteen centimeters. Yellow wildflowers bloom and exude a honey scent. They are used for cosmetic purposes.

How to grow wildflowers

Plants are sown into the soil where weeds grow favorably. This is the first sign that the flowers will develop well. The soil is dug up only to clear it of old root systems.

In the clearing where the culture will grow, you can leave a little grass to make the view more aesthetic. Then you need to decide on the plants that are suitable for growing in a particular region.
